Crown Equipment Expands C-B Series Electric Pneumatic Tire Forklifts
Crown Equipment Corporation has announced the expansion of its C-B Series 80V electric pneumatic tire forklifts, now offering capacities ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 lbs. These models join the previously released 8,000 to 10,000 lb capacity forklifts, providing robust and efficient electric alternatives to internal combustion forklifts for various applications.
The C-B Series combines the ruggedness of pneumatic tire forklifts with clean, efficient electric power, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Key features include AC traction control for low energy consumption, a heavy-duty optimized steer axle for strength and maneuverability, and a robust design with sealed AC controllers and enclosed drive motors for dependable outdoor performance.
Ergonomically designed for operator comfort, the forklifts offer spacious legroom, fully adjustable steering columns and full suspension seats, supportive armrests, and intuitive controls for all hydraulic functions. The design also provides excellent visibility through a thoughtfully designed overhead guard and carefully routed hydraulic hoses and chains along the mast uprights.
Standard operator-assist technologies reduce mast sway, decrease travel speed in turns, and automatically apply the parking brake when the operator leaves the seat. Optional features include modular cabins, fingertip controls for precise movements, and additional operator-assist technologies to manage travel speed and forward tilt of the mast.
