ARPAC is expanding and we need your help! We are currently looking for a Dock Service Technician at our Delta branch. The ideal candidate has previous experience working on a variety of docks and doors.
A Typical Day
Dock Service Technicians are supplied a company vehicle which is taken home each night – no more commute in your own vehicle burning expensive gas! You use your company-supplied cell phone to call dispatch, who schedules your day from one customer job site to another. Only periodic trips are made into the branch to resupply your van with parts. This position performs repairs, maintenance, and inspections on Dock Equipment and Doors at customer sites. This position brings variety to the day is always different.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources and Employee Support
- Facilitate performance reviews, handle exit interviews, and support termination processes in alignment with management.

Safety Program Management

Injury Management

Legislative & Legal Compliance
- Provide consistent and pragmatic advice on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, discipline, and legislative matters.

Daily Operations
- Participate in safety meetings across Alberta and BC.
- Manage HR responsibilities and oversee operations across locations.

Our Delta Storage Products division is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time CAD Designer to join our Engineering and Design team. We’re looking for a candidate with over 2 years of experience in designing custom racking systems and expertise with AutoCAD. A post-secondary diploma in Computer-Aided Design is required.
A Day in the Life
As our CAD Designer, you will create precise layouts and drawings for our clients and conduct onsite inspections of custom-designed racking systems. Working closely with our Engineering and Installation teams, you’ll identify and troubleshoot design issues, ensuring all work aligns with industry standards. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth!
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate CAD drawings for selective, push-back, and drive-in racking systems.
- Inspect custom-designed racking systems onsite under the guidance of a BC-registered Structural Engineer.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Installation teams to resolve design challenges.
- Ensure compliance with torque specifications, embedment, and clearance requirements, as well as the BCBC 2018 and BCBC 2024 codes.
